Koe Na Win ("the app") is a Myanmar Buddhist daily-practice companion for Android — a recitation planner, bead/round counter, and a meat-avoidance meal helper. There is no user account, no sign-up, and no name, email, or phone number collected to use the app. The app works fully offline; an internet connection is only used to load ads.
01Information We Collect
The app does not operate any backend server and does not transmit your practice data anywhere. Specifically:
- No account, no personal identifiers. The app never asks for your name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifying information.
- Local practice data. Your recitation plan, daily progress, bead/round counts, saved meals, and app preferences (reminder times, sound/vibration settings, etc.) are stored only in a local database on your device. This data is never uploaded to us or to any third party, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
- Local notifications. If you turn on reminders, the app schedules them using your device's own operating system (no server involved) so it can alert you at your chosen recitation/meal times, even offline.
- Advertising. The app shows banner ads served by Adsterra (adsterra.com), loaded via an in-app web view. Adsterra may collect device or advertising identifiers and use cookies to serve and measure ads, under its own privacy policy (https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/). We don't control or receive this data ourselves beyond standard ad-performance reporting Adsterra may provide us as the publisher.
02Permissions the App Requests
- Notifications — to show your practice/meal reminders.
- Exact alarms — so reminders fire at the exact time you chose, not just "around" that time.
- Receive boot completed — so your reminders are still scheduled after you restart your phone.
- Vibration — for the optional haptic feedback on the bead counter.
- Internet — used only to load banner ads; every other feature works fully offline.
The app does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage, or any other permission beyond the list above.
03How We Use Information
We don't use your information for anything — because we don't receive any of it. All practice, counter, and meal data stays on your device. The only outside party involved is Adsterra, for ad serving, as described above.
04Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your data, because we never receive it in the first place. The only third party involved at all is Adsterra, for ad serving.
05Data Retention
All app data lives only on your device for as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling the app deletes it completely. We hold no server-side copy to retain or delete.
06Delete Your Data
Koe Na Win has no accounts and no server, so there is no account to delete. To delete all of the data the app stores for you:
- Open Android Settings > Apps > Koe Na Win > Storage and tap Clear data (removes your plan, progress, counters, saved meals and settings but keeps the app installed), or
- Uninstall Koe Na Win, which deletes everything the app stored on your device.
Data deleted: all local practice data (recitation plan, daily progress, bead/round counts, saved meals, reminder and app preferences). Data kept: none — we hold no copy and no retention period applies. Ad data handled by Adsterra is governed by Adsterra's privacy policy; you can also reset your Android advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads. Questions: privacy@sawyuntech.com.
07Security
Since no practice/personal data ever leaves your device, there is no transmission of that data to secure. The device's own OS-level app sandboxing protects the local database from other apps.
08Children's Privacy
Koe Na Win is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children — in fact, we do not collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
09Your Choices
You can stop using the app and delete all local app data at any time by uninstalling it, or by clearing the app's storage from Android's App Info screen. Because we hold no server-side data about you, there is nothing further to request deletion of from us.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
